London Fashion Week is acclaimed for its edgy and fashion forward designs. With such a frenzy of creativity in one short week, it’s hardly surprising that many of the biggest trends will take their fledgling footsteps on the runway!

This week, the fashion elite flooded to the capital to celebrate the arrival of London Fashion Week. With designer royalty like Mulberry, Acne and Christopher Kane showcasing their collections, the schedule read like a who’s who of contemporary design. As if there wasn’t enough scheduled style to photograph, off the catwalk the ensembles were just as enviable!

Two of our favourite fashionable tall ladies were under the same roof at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel this month. Uma Thurman and Liv Tyler attended the star-studded event in New York, which was raising funds for ‘Room to Grow’, a charity supporting the formative years of babies born into poverty. Whilst helping a fantastic cause, the tall ladies looked stunning in monochrome styling.

Since returning from Majorca we’ve been back down to earth with a bump. The first week of December meant a test on the rowing machines. We use the same ones that you see in the gym and the test is 2000m flat out. It’s very painful but you feel great for having done it.

This spring, the catwalks were full of pale and interesting shades – from sherbet yellow at Calvin Klein to spearmint green at Christopher Kane, this season’s colours are straight out of the sweet shop. Here are our tips for trying out the look…
