Tall beauty Cameron Diaz works the vintage lace trend POSTED BY 03.21.12

Tall and lovely Cameron Diaz recently attended the Valentino Spring/Summer 2012 Haute-Couture show as part of Paris Fashion Week, dressed suitably for the occasion in a bang on trend, vintage-inspired, cream lace dress. Cameron showed off her long elegant legs in the number, which nipped in at the waist in true vintage style – and she set off the dress with nothing more than her signature ruffled blonde hair and a smile. Light coloured lace in vintage-inspired shapes is a trend set to dominate fashion this spring. The look is ultra feminine, and adds a wonderful touch of nostalgia to any wardrobe. Tall girls can steal Cameron’s style with our lovely cream lace-woven top - the scooped neck and three-quarter length sleeves give it a demure elegance, making it a great day to evening piece. If you want to show off your long elegant legs like Cameron, pair the top with a bodycon or pencil skirt. Keep the colours on your bottom half dark (so as not to draw attention away from the delicateness of the top) and finish off with a pair of nude heels, like our patent court shoes – these have a small heel, so they won’t add too much height. To work the look during the day, pair with skinny fit jeans or leggings, and add ballerina pumps for relaxed footwear. Or, for a smarter edge, team with a pair of black ankle boots and a fitted blazer. If you want to add a touch of vintage glamour to your wardrobe and fancy trying out this trend, we recommend starting off with a few subtle touches. Try wearing a cream lace scarf to finish off a casual daytime look, or opt for a top with pretty lace detail, like our brand new lace trim tunic. With lace set to be a big feature on the high street this spring, it seems this trend is here to stay – and, as proven by Ms. Diaz – it’s perfectly suited to tall girls!
