Polka dots are a massive trend this season, and have been all over the high street- from spotty day dresses to polka dot shorts. From Minnie Mouse’s red polka dot dress up, to Hollywood icons like Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor in stunning polka dot gowns, this fun, playful pattern has been a fashion favourite for decades. Now the print has come full circle, working as a cute, feminine design that’s a fail-safe option, day or night.

Tall girl Miranda Kerr was spotted out on the streets of Manhattan late last month in a gorgeous polka dot print blouse, paired with summery white flared jeans and over-sized handbag. We love this chic daytime look, great for a lunch date or relaxed evening drinks.

Miranda is known for her trend-setting style, not to mention her marriage to actor heart-throb Orlando Bloom, which this week was rumoured to be “on the rocks”. Thankfully, the Victoria’s Secret model has blasted these rumours as untrue- and we’re glad to hear it!
