Will you get anything new in leisurewear anytime soon? I'm thinking of a nice pair of trousers and jacket for the summer.
Yes indeed Ms Strawberry Storm! We will be getting in a whole new collection of leisurewear for our Autumn catalogue - which will be coming out over the next few weeks - the main launch will be in July.
There are lots of trousers styles to choose from - yoga/cropped/jogging styles as well as a new range of tops to choose from - including lined sports vests, micro fleeces and jogging hoodies.
We've also started stocking a new American brand called Bylyse, which is a luxury leisurewear brand - which we will be expanding on in the future.
Hope you find what you are looking for - Thanks for posting!!
I work in a large store that sells walking/trekking/climbing gear. I get really frustrated when all the great trousers designed for these sports seem to come only in a 30 or 32 inch length- useless on a 35 inch inside leg. I have finally had to buy gents trousers - but even they are only a 34 inch inside leg.
Is there enough of a market for LTS to do one or two styles each year- in soft shell, quick drying fabric in 35inch(or more!!) length? Rab is one of the manufacturers to do a 34 inch length(and they make some great outdoor clothes)- could you collaborate with them and do 35 and 37 inch perhaps ?
Squezy, there have been posts on the forum for approximately 2 years requestig LTS to investigate stocking hiking/trecking gear, especially trousers as we all struggle even with gents, as you say they only ever go to 34" . so far, despite each time sayng they will take our comments on baird, nothing has been forthcoming.
Come on LTS there is a big market out there, more so now that we have the girls over the pond as well,, you cant surely think stocking outdoor gear would be a profit loss. You dont even need to change the colours every season!
Quick-drying fabric is what I'm looking for too! I prefer breathable fabrics for running (synthetic moisture-wicking) and always wear a pair of pants that is a bit too short. If LTS had a pair of pants in this fabric I would buy at least one, maybe more!
Speaking of moisture-wicking, I would also buy long underwear (the tops and the bottoms) if it were available. I use it for cold-weather running, but it might also be quite popular with those who ski.
