I would like to share my experience:
This month, I ordered a dozen articles, but two did not arrive until my door, and I expect another 3, which already seem to be late.
It was the first time I placed so many orders from Long Tall Sally.
I don't know what happened with the postal service.
I 'm so disappointed...
So,I suggest that you should offer a more secure delivery option.
Large parcels are already shipped via UPS,so why little parcels can't be shipped via UPS mail?
Because the postal service is not always reliable, now, i know it!
No matter the cost, i will pay for it, and i think i'm not the only one!

We use a standard delivery service for orders under 2kg however, if you wish to use a courier service for all your deliveries please contact the Mail Order department on +044 (0) 844 573 6885 we will be able to arrange this for you, there will be an additional charge for this service.
At present we unable to ship all parcels with a courier service because of the cost implications hopefully as the company continues to grows we will be able to look at this option.
Once again we are very sorry if this delay has caused you any inconvenience, we are committed to giving our customers a memorable shopping experience and appreciate this has not been the case in this instance.
my order,who the price rises to just over 800 euros, was over 2 kg too!
but it was shipped 1 item at a time, so...
it's okay to pay additionnal charges for the courier service, but , it will be easier if we can choose this option, and place an order at the same time.
because, i know that your telephone operators don't speak french...
so i can't do it.
is it possible to contact the mail department by e-mail?
and this is the point! it's a guarantee, so, i think that some customers will pay for it!

We are sorry the complete order was not available to be dispatched in one parcel, currently the website does not give you the option to request that all your orders are to be shipped via a courier service however, I will pass your feedback to the web team.
In the meanwhile please you can contact us by email firstname.lastname@example.org we will be able to translate your email. Please list the items you would like to order including the colour and size and your delivery/billing address (if different) if you could also ensure you include a contact number so can call you for your card details at this point we will be able to give you The total value of your postage costs. Please note that if you are placing a large order and all the items are in stock the order will be dispatched in one parcel so no additional postage costs will be incurred.

I live in the Paris area. Although I'm rarely in a hurry to get the items I've ordered delivered, I have also noticed that LTS items seem to take a lot longer to be delivered to France than other UK companies that deliver abroad. Examples of quick deliverers are Monsoon, Boden, Next, Debenhams and they don't necessarily deliver by DHL or UPS. Just thought I'd make the remark.

As soon as i didn't get any reply by e-mail, I'll repeat it here:
I have one question: why didn't you send the jeans via regular mail? As far as i understand, that how it was done the very first time. And that time i got my order in time and without any extra expenses.
Now according to Israeli law, if the shipment was made by UPS, i have to pay extra 250 shekels (it's approx. 40 pounds!!!) of different taxes. If it would be done by regular mail i won't have to pay anything. The refund of the 15 pounds doesn't cover even half of it (even if it was a nice gesture).
On top of that, apparently, the courier from UPS didn't have my cell number (according to UPS, you didn't provide it to them), and they couldn't contact me! And we didn't even know that!
And today 26/06/12 I've finally received the bloody jeans that i ordered in April. And it's written on the parcel, that it was received by Israeli UPS on 20/05/12. How come that nobody tried to contact me a month ago? and during that all time?
Besides, when i got them, I've found out that it was not exactly what i expected. They are lighter and the material is a bit different, but these are unimportant details.
I hope you really saved on the courier fees, because otherwise the loss of clients wouldn't be justified... )
Now is there an option in the future to send my orders via regular mail and get them on time? Or should i calculate the price as double every time i order in LTS and never expect my order on time?

I have just called Customer services about an order placed on 15/06/2012. Goods still not arrived. This is a common problem for me with LTS. Tall Girls website does not seem to experience this and can despatch goods within a reasonable timescale - although their selection is not as wide as yours. Surely nowadays you can at least track my order and let me know if there is a problem - check out most other online companies and you'll see how it's done. Can you rectify this by looking at how you put your orders together? I'd love to know why most of your orders take over a week to arrive.
Our standard delivery option takes 5 working days as our standard service is despatched with Royal Mail unfortunately we do not have any tracking information for this service.
If you wish to have your goods sent on an express service (next day) you can choose this option when placing your order your order will be despatched with a courier so we will be able to track your order.
As I cannot see your order details I am unsure if there was a delay in despatching your order, or if they has been a delay with the postal service. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Thanks for the reply. There was a 1 week delay before the goods were despatched. Cust services tell me that the items had to be sourced from Canada - which is great - but is it not possible to keep me informed. If I'd needed these for a particular occasion it would have come and gone. I know that your deliveries take 5/6 days - I've been a customer for 22 years but 12 days is quite a long time without any communication. Normally I am happy with the goods and the service this is just a point about communication really. I now have the goos and they fit and I am happy!
