Ontario Suit -- and the Long Blue Skirt with the ruffle at the bottom -- Both hits(1 post)
When I wore the Ontario Suit, the dress with the matching jacket, last week, I had rave reviews from a colleague, She couldn't believe how well it fit me, and was admiring the lining of the jacket too. She loved the way that the dress could be worn by itself or paired with the matching jacket to make the suit appearance. She asked where I had bought my outfit. I was proud to say, 'Long Tall Sally.' I wore the long, turquoise skirt I purchased from your store last spring with the raw, ruffled edge, and the buttons all the way down to the hem to an event, with the white cotton tunic that had lace trim at the edge of the sleeves and at the base of the tunic and a tie at the back, to an event over the summer and EVERYONE wanted to know how I was able to pull of an outfit like that. I had so many questions the style I had put together. I had another tunic from LTS which had this beautiful, blue, nearly transparent, print material, and this lovely blue beadwork trim which received lot of compliments when I wore it this past spring and summer. I know where my business is going! Stay long, stay tall, stay proud, Long Tall Sally -- at 6'2" I need the choices, the materials, and the style that you offer. By the way, I see a lot of complaints about the silky materials, bohemian styling, etc. Well, ladies, that IS the style. If you want the huge shoulder pads and structured suits in fire-engine red, with gold braid trim, well, you have to go back to the 80's -- that's the old "DALLAS" look that we haven't had since. And it's a good thing too, because I always thought I frightened people when I wore those kinds of aggressively-designed suits. This softer, less structured, more flowing look is a lot more comfortable and fits my personality better, and is less threatening. And if you're REALLY tall (and not a wanna-be tall), believe me, you can carry the longer lengths -- and those long skirts are for US -- and we can carry them off with style that turns heads. So, shop LTS, if you're tall, shop somewhere else if you're small -- and that's easy advice to follow!Posted 3 years ago #
