After a fantastic few weeks, the Olympics are now over and we’re currently in the throes of the inspirational Paralympic Games, which have well and truly kick-started autumn. All this talk of sport has got us in the right frame of mind to start hauling ourselves to the gym to get into shape, and it looks like we’re not alone. Over the pond, loads of tall girls have been papped working out.
Jessie J is undoubtedly the tall girl of the moment, and she wowed the nation with her recent performance at the spectacular Olympic Closing Ceremony. Known for her outlandish, quirky dress sense, her real talent shone through as she impressed us with her outstanding vocals.
One of our favourite tall girls, beautiful Burberry model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, graces the cover of Elle magazine this month – we thought we’d take a look at her cover photo style for fashion inspiration.
In the middle of the Olympic Games, our hotel room has become a haven. Each day we get up early and go down to the lake before the day’s racing starts. On our way in to the course, spectators cheer and clap and shout our names as we walk past. It’s incredibly emotional as we begin to realise the scale of the support we have.
Come down to our Chiltern Street store on Monday 20th August for your chance to meet and greet our sponsored GOLD MEDAL rowing champions Anna Watkins and Katherine Grainger. Have your questions at the ready and the best customer questions get the chance to ask the girls in person. They will be instore 2-5.30pm.
